Jiles M. Barfield
EDUCATION:
Jiles M. Barfield attended the University of Georgia from 1970 to 1973 and Georgia Southern University from 1974 to 1975 receiving a B.S. in Social Science Education. He was awarded a graduate assistantship in history by Georgia Southern University, but chose instead to teach history and government in the public schools of Georgia from 1975 to 1977.
Mr. Barfield entered the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1977 and was invited to the Law Review in 1977, but declined. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Walter F. George School of Law in 1980 and was admitted to the practice of law in GA in November 1980.
He has practiced law in Vidalia, Georgia since 1980 and his practice has focused primarily on Workers Compensation Law and Social Security Disability Law.
